I can run MESS v0.161 (32 or 64 bit) and all previous versions of MESS, with the Supercharger Loader bin and one of my Cassette images as a WAV file, with no problems.
The trouble begins when MAME and MESS were combined in V0.162 (and also in current version 0.163.
The Supercharger load screen states to "Rewind Tape / Press Play"
-I'll mount the cassette image, and click Play.
-I'll see a count upwards 0/18 up to 18/18, then a blank screen.
-Instead, I should see colored vertical bars moving inwards, and some cassette noise. But all that comes up is a blank screen after the count-up.
