The way it appears to me is that the text "collected all" (plural, as in you have gotten all of the letters) already appears (sometimes) when you only have gotten one (or two) of the letters, but not the entire word yet. But your description might describe it more accurately.

Hey, thanks for taking the time and effort to look into that !

Yeah, the video of the actual game does indeed show the same behavior, so thanks for clearing that up. It's something that has been bothering me for forever (years, easily, and perhaps even a decade or so) but I never have taken the time to ask around for before now.

So thanks again for looking into that, and confirming the same thing happens on the actual PCB.
