Seriously ? the menus are enough self-explanatory IMO.
in MAMEUI apparently just 'use blinear filtering' and set 'bitmap prescaling' to 2.

TBH the default settings of the CRT shaders we have seem to want to emulate just that, which is a stinker IMO, especially to younger ppl who never experienced real CRTs first hand.
Presets available for crisp broadcast-like RGB monitors (or SCART TVs), wether trinitron or shadow mask, would be better, methinks.
That's what has always been popular with retro hobbyists anyway, not run-down arcades monitors.
