MAMEWorld Forums - EmuChat - Transparent ingame UI background ? [solved]

Hey!

I've been trying to make the UI background completely transparent ingame, so from the main menu before launching a game I go to UI options, colors and then background colors, set alpha to 0 and it seems to work (in the little window on the right background goes tansparent) but then as soon as i exit the customize menus, all colors revert back to default (and of course same goes for ingame UI).

Tried to do it from the UI.ini but I don't really know how to do that nor if it might actually work better this way...

EDIT; note if I do 'save configuration' I get an error box without text stuck indefinitely

EDIT: nevermind found the solution anyway, just edited the UI.ini in this fashion and it worked:

Still, I wonder why we can't do the same from the UI

well, whatever no big deal.
