Weird color bands using HLSL in Mame 0.172

I'm getting odd color bands in Food Fight, and to a lesser extent Berzerk. It's like the HLSL screen goes beyond the scanline section and bleeds the last pixel's bloom from the edge.

I know HLSL bugs aren't supposed to be sent to MAMETesters, so I post it here.
