MAME 0.148u1 issues

Is anyone else having problems with 148u1? I have multiple games crashing,with HLSL both on and off.Gradius 4 crashes on startup,as does Cruisin USA and Cruisin world.

On my cab which is running 0.148,everything is just fine,no crashing,no issues at all.Just wondering if im alone and its a problem on my end.Thanks!
