1. I thought it has been said numerous times that MAMEPGUI was no longer supported by the MAME team.

2. You may have missed even though it has been mentioned numerous times now that the HLSL developer can't respond on this forum;

3. As I stated here, I have used certain HLSL settings that do not bring up the error box on game exit;

So yeah, since MAMEPGUI is not supported by the MAME team and since I can avoid the error box with certain HLSL settings. That would indicate that perhaps it is something in the HLSL code, which would then be obvious to post a thread on the MESS board where the HLSL developer could respond.
