His purpose for doing this is:
"The ability to bring software up and running into any browser window will enable instant, clear recall and reference of the computing experience to millions."

If I read through the lines, he wants to make it really easy for people to just take a look at older software via emulation. That's cool but what about copyright? What's the use of having a JS port if the user still needs to go and fetch the ROMS and such.
