Someone was referring to that movie scene, but they couldn't remember the movie title when they were watching it live on cable tv. I missed it myself.
I was expecting the theme would be this Bowie piece

And instead they were using this Bowie number which is one that I had forgot about. Although Bowie is very talented, I still paid more attention to ELO and Frank Zappa for rock music. My main area of music was on jazz side such as Weather Report, Billy Cobham, Spyro Gyra, Tom Scott, Michael Brecker (of Brecker Brothers) etc.

While on topic of David Bowie, this part of the movie Saturday Night Fever always cracks me up with the lady dance partner describing David Bowie visiting the office she worked at and one of the guys replies "Yeah, he swings both ways....men and boys".
Funniest part of the movie.....the rest was forgettable. Even one of the Youtube commenters thought that part was funny as well.
