"The list is extensive, and it includes some gems such as COBOL, Fortran and Ada. Of course, there are also some language resources that are useful (not to slam Pascal, but really...) such as C++, C#, and some general programming tomes that are fine resources. Many of the books are out of print or have been released under a free license."

I'm a little puzzled as to why the site you link to wants to know my gender in order to give me access to books about programming but when I strip the link down to basics it makes sense:
https://passion.com/
No problem though. A good source is a good source.
EDIT OH SORRY! MY BAD. THAT WAS JUST THE 1. LINK!.
EDIT2: In fact, there are a couple of interesting links to educational institutions in there.
EDIT3: (GEEK WARNING) A primer on tensors even: https://wpfiles.mines.edu/samizdat/tensors/ShR6b.pdf
EDIT4: Although now I dig a little deeper I wonder why the source use the word or handle "samizdat" to post a treatise on tensor math? Paranoid much?
EDIT5: Which brought me here:
http://www.passiveaggressivenotes.com/2013/04/03/paranoia/
Man, I need to stop with the weed.
EDIT6: And now I see the post I replied to has almost 9000 views! [George dons his hat (https://zapatopi.net/afdb/)]

Good job at replying to a 15 year old post just to complain about it.

Yeah. I was pretty drunk but that's a lame excuse, I know. I realized it along the way and thought I might as well go all in. That's the reason I edited my timely answer instead of increasing the meaningless noise.
At least the OP got an answer. If he/she isn't dead by now that is. (?)

The OP is/was the site administrator, and wasn't asking a question in the first place. When you find yourself in a hole, stop digging.
