One factor hindering proper sound emulation in Cadillacs & Dinosaurs bootlegs is that the sound CPU is often a small single-chip microcontroller (PIC16C57 or EM78P447) executing solely from on-chip ROM, good dumps of which are very difficult to obtain.

i will get the dumps rom very soon..
will it instantly work on mame or not?
if not .. can i send you pcb board from china to your address?
we need find the way make this pcb board into a good rom

I don't know about "instantly", but if you can get at the protected microcontroller contents, someone on the MAME team will definitely look into it.

as others have said, unless you can dump the protected microcontrollers as well as the ROMs then we can't properly emulate the versions with the crappy looped sound.
the microcontrollers drive the sound chips
almost nobody can dump the microcontrollers, they typically require decapping or otherwise deprotecting first, which is a very expensive specialized task.

No, it's very useful, but right now there are fewer people who can dump these things than we'd like.

With the PCB board photos, I hope it will be possible to dump and emulate the game. Please reach out to him about shipping the game to him so that he can image it. It is not guaranteed that this will result in a working dump, but it will be a necessary step in the process.

I’m not familiar with this board set, so I read through the messages. Someone mentioned a PIC microcontroller driving the sound, but I don’t see a PIC on the PCB. There is an EMC EM78P447AP by the audio section. That’s an ELAN microcontroller that’s very similar to a PIC. The datasheet says this chip is one-time programmable, which means it’s an EPROM with no window. That means that bits can’t be seen visually, even if the chip is decapped. The datasheet also says there’s a protection bit to prevent the code from being read.
There’s no programming info in the datasheet that I found, and none of my EPROM programmers support it. So at this point I don’t know where to start. I’ll look for more information about the chip and see if anyone has dumped one yet.

All cadillacs bootlegs
Punisher
Slammasters sets
Warriors of fate set
Not emulated but exists (too missing):
carrier airwing (music and sounds x2 speed)
Street fighter 2 the world warrior and champion edition (similar to sets like M1 and playmark, has too 10 seconds music and only 8 songs)
Sangokushi 2 (asia set, similar to the usa set, but the music is more complete, too other similar, but with 10 seconds bgm)
