Track & Field not saving records of each event

I know it's maybe not a MAME-related issue but I would like to know why the world records of each event are not being stored anywhere, even with updated lua hiscore plugin and nvram enabled. After enabling NVRAM, it only stores the final scores of the player.

I had the same issue I think it's in FAQ but you have to turn save records on then reset the game or turn off then reset the game then turn back on save records then reset the game that should fix the saving records. The game itself saves records not the hi score plug-in if i'm right.

As already mentioned…and probably originated from MAMEInfo long ago.

SETUP
* To have the high score table properly initialized, the first time you run the game you should go into the dipswitch menu, set World Records to Erase on Reset, reset the game (F3), and the set the dipswitch back to 'Don't Erase'.

If this doesn’t work, it could require a future update from Highscore.dat related updates.

Sorry guys, it is in fact not recording the 1st event only (100m dash).
I tried the method described here and tried with hiscore lua plugin and both give the same result. The 100m dash keeps empty and from the long jump onwards, it seems to be recording everything.

The plugin will interfere with the game's own saving. Disable the plugin, re-do the init procedure, and then it should save.

It's working fine now! I've disabled the hiscore lua plugin and now all scores are being saved.
