Not many pics out there but I did find one posted for sale,
was able to find the Marquee, and a CPO on arcadeartwork.org.

EDITING... because I missed a bunch of stuff...

The only dedicated version of Mr. Do was the Universal version with the pink outline on the bezel. (The blue outline is a conversion kit for other Universal cabinets).

The Taito conversion kit was only a PCB, circle side art, bezel instruction sticker, and marquee. Marquee was same as the Universal version.

All other artwork you see out there for Mr. Do is bootleg from various companies.

For example... the version I grew up with, at the liquor store down from my house, is in current artwork labeled as "Taito Conversion."

In your pic of the JPN Taito cabinet... there are two buttons on each side of the joystick, because whatever game was in that cab before they changed it to a Mr. Do, had two buttons, and the owner of the game never bothered changing anything on the control panel.

The CPO you got on Arcade Artwork.org is another generic CPO, that also happens to have the graphics for the prototype on it. This originally came from ClassicArcadeGrafix (CAG). Take note that not everything that came from there was good quality, and/or labeled correctly. (e.g. the Mars bezel with the Mr. Do proto instructions).

If you wanted to use that as the prototype version, then yes, the joystick would be center. I wouldn't flip anything, because that is how that particular CPO was. I would highly suggest fixing the text in the instruction section of it, as the CAG guy did a piss poor job of it (it's all jaggy and stuff).

PM me a list of stuff you are looking for... I have a lot of stuff here that is not publicly available (simply because I haven't gotten around to it yet).

RELAX and just have fun. Remember, it's all about the games.

Okay Thanks for all the info, Ill finish up the CPO and set it up as Taito proto conversion?
If you happen to have a good copy of the Gleeb CPO or Marquee
it would be great, anything else I'll PM you.
Thanks again.
