Confirmed.

Hard Hat makes a continual tone until you die first time, then it's ok after that.

warfa, warfaa: after configuring the controller, black screen, although once I got an internal dump (in the emulation).

MAME seems to be like Hydra - "fix one bug and two more shall appear".

Yeah, not at all like the bug-free, hack-free experience of MAMEUI.
