ARCADE64 and history.xml

Hello, I'm trying to figure out if it's possible for ARCADE64 to read the new XML format of the history.xml file.
Not sure if the .dat version of that file will be updated in the future. I tried putting the XML file both in the dats folder and in a history folder but without success.
I would like to ask if someone in my same situation managed to view the history.xml data or if it is not possible to do so for now.

not possible - you must use history.dat
