Mameui Highscore Save possible ?

Hello folks, I'm getting desperate.
Is there a way to save the high score in MameUi?
If yes, how do I proceed?
Would be grateful for any help.

Yes. In your MAMEUI directory you need a 'hiscore' sub-directory. Then in your mame.ini file scroll down to the # SCRIPTING OPTIONS section and on the line that says plugins put a 1 after it and on the plugin line put hiscore after it.

plugin hiscore

Now you also need the plugin.ini file. Edit your plugin.ini file to have a 1 after hiscore.

hiscore 1
One final thing, go to your MAMEUI/plugins/hiscore directory and make sure you have the hiscore.dat file there.
That is pretty much it. It doesn't work for every game.

Hi! Although I did all of the above mentioned entrys MameUI63 0.248 won't save or load any highscore files. It did work once, but stopped doing so. I don't know why...
Any help pls?
