Balsente 'Stocker' controls question

I played Stocker in the arcades back in '84 and it's got a shifter. In MAME this is implemented as a button, but doesn't appear to toggle between high and low like other driving games.
It seems you have to hold down the button to engage high gear and keep it held down(?), is that the correct control assignment?

It's likely accurate to the actual arcade controls... but...
I could have sworn there was an update some time ago, that converted all gearshifts of this type to toggle by default in MAME... forget when it was, or even if I'm remembering it right.
Makes sense, due to this option:
https://docs.mamedev.org/advanced/shiftertoggle.html
Maybe Stocker was just missed? And it just needs to be updated?

RELAX and just have fun. Remember, it's all about the games.

Thanks, I had forgotten that little tid-bit on original control behaviour. Guess I'll bug it and see if there is any feedback/direction.
