Camputers Lynx - Load games ?
#394087 - 05/26/22 04:04 AM

Hello everyone !

I try to load games on the Camputers Lynx but without success...

I found this interesting link here which gives the commands for different machines & found this information:

MLOAD"" or LOAD""

When I execute these two commands the game loads but in the end nothing happens everything is blocked ?!

How to proceed ?!

Greetings !

You can't specify a blank name. It requires the correct name from the file header.
If you're loading from the software list, the correct command is listed in the usage.
Even if you don't know, the command you need to use will be displayed on the console at the command line.
And lastly, use the lynx 96k version - there's not much software for the others.

Thank you for your reply !

I found the solution you have to launch the game with the command MLOAD or LOAD + the name of the game in quotes -> examples:

For the game Battle Brick:

LOAD "BATTLEBRICK"

For the Centipede game:

MLOAD "CENTIPEDE"

The command is indicated in the window of the emulator on the right in "Usage Instructions" I had not seen correctly
