Afterburner 1 with a artwork question.

How come the light up bezel doesn't work on this one? Doesn't go with this? Reason why that I asked because most videos I seen only show the Afterburner II.

TBH... never checked myself before. Found this note in the driver source:

I just know it doesn't work on play mode and demo mode.

Thanks for the info. I won't use the artwork on this one then. Just for now.

Did the cabinet actually have LEDs beyond the start button?

I thought the artwork cockpit view was for After Burner II sitdown...?

My mum didn’t realise that cabinet tilted in response to the joystick when she first played After Burner, and it scared her. I don’t recall lock-on warning lights above the screen, but my memory could be failing.
