nplayers.ini and Multiplayer.ini, the multiplayer description files for MAME, are up-to-date for MAME 0.237.

Download: http://nplayers.arcadebelgium.be/

Enjoy! ;-)

There is a little problem with your nplayer files for mame on Linux Mint.

When nplayer or multiplayer.ini is in the folders directory, mame hangs on startup.

Removing the files allows mame to boot fine.

This problem happens in 0.236 as well. Multiplayer.ini is the file to use, but it's got some garbage at the end which hangs MAME. To fix it, go to the end of the file and remove the section called [pinball"].

I don't know what the purpose of NPlayers.ini is - its format doesn't fit with MAME or MAMEUI.

And lastly, the link to MAMEUI on the site is about 20 years out of date, and needs correcting.
