Good job there biden now the Taliban is in better shape now than ever before...
Let's see.... Let's leave our weapons, air craft, ground vehicles, computer systems and the rest of our military gear to supply them ohhh yeah!! Let's not forget the Americans we left too!!!
What a friggin idiot... We will be back over there in 3 yrs trying to clean up this mess this idiot left.... More American tax dollars to spend and more American lives to lose over this deal....

Wasn't it Trump who wanted to leave? Wasn't it Bush who went there in the first place? This war only ever had one possible outcome, the one we have seen. It was only a matter of how long until the idiots in charge finally woke up.
Sure, the evacuation could have been handled better, and all the equipment removed. But that's a matter for the armed forces, not the president. IMO the excess equipment should have been blown up rather than just leaving it there.

Hey now, get out of here with your "logic" and "facts". It's not like Trump literally invited the Taliban to the USA on the anniversary of 9/11, and negotiated with the Taliban to release nearly 5 thousand of their fighters who had been imprisoned by the US over the previous two decades.

It's always hilarious to me how Republicunts can never find anything wrong with what their chosen messiah is doing, and will even go so far as to castigate Democratic presidents who do literally exactly the same things.
Democratic voters are unafraid to openly mock Biden for the numerous, actually valid, grievances against the guy. He talked big game during the campaign, talking about how he supports LGBTQ rights, supports ending the war on drugs, supports this, supports that, but has done very little to follow through on any of it. On the other hand, the folks who get their talking points from Fox or god forbid OANN/Newsmax will inevitably start clutching at pearls and leap for the nearest convenient fainting divan, like the snowflakes they are, the instant a Democratic president does exactly what their own hero was doing less than two years ago.
Republican voters will find absolutely any excuse to not have to unlock their lips from Trump's dick. After all, if you criticize the God-Emperor for even a second, they'll cut up your membership card in the Trump Cum-Guzzler Club..

If you can't get people out, how you gonna get multi-ton equipment out?
Much of the more sophisticated equipment was sabotaged in some fashion. Here's one report, from Al Jazeera.
Most of the rest of the abandoned gear won't work for long without regular routine maintenance, which the Taliban have no idea how to provide.
