Invaders and some others. Can the overlay be converted into svg and then be use with bgfx?

Just the overlay curving part. None of those graphics effects. Transparent effect will be needed. You see what I'm saying. For example gscobra is using the bgfx and it not flat.
People can choose from the option. Flat screen overlay or bgfx to curve the overlay.
Point is that the overlay should curve when the game screen curve.

Why are you using a CRT filter on a VFD game?

I'm not. My mame.ini set on bgfx. lol
I just pointing out that the svg can reshape the art. I thought that the overlay can do the same in a svg file as well. I don't know it can be transparent. Would be cool.

The curvature and shadow mask effects in that screenshot are caused by some kind of CRT filter. A VFD does not look like that.

In any case, those scanlines aren't following the set curvature, is this a regression?
I've just noticed that it also happens with crt-geom-deluxe, but I think it used to work fine?

Been that way for a very long time on the crt-geom-deluxe. Unless it got broken long time ago.
bgfx_path bgfx bgfx_backend opengl bgfx_debug 0 bgfx_screen_chains crt-geom-deluxe,crt-geom-deluxe,crt-geom-deluxe bgfx_shadow_mask slot-mask.png bgfx_lut bgfx_avi_name auto

Works fine in most cases, I've only been able to reproduce this behavior in the X68000 core.
