I bought an Elite Mini PC with an AMD Ryzen Processor Radion Vega 11, with sixteen gigs of memory and an SSD.
I installed the 0.234 version of MAMEUI but games like Contra, and Metal Slug run slowly with distorted audio.
Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong and how to fix it?

Without taking random stabs in the dark, no. I can only suggest that you uncheck options dealing with video syncing for starters. Many modern OS installs also have a hard time installing the DirectX9.0c package needed for Direct3D and it is possible you are defaulting to some software backup. Try using another video mode such as BGFX or OPENGL and see if that improves things.
You can toggle your speed display by using F11 while emulation is running. If there are no issues, it should so a fairly constant 100% speed.

Thanks the frame skipping resolve the problem, my best setting is 7. What can I do to reduce my control input delay? It's off by about a second, for example, if I press a jump button it'll perform it after a short delay.
