Hi All,
I have just had a week of playing atari's Centiped and got really hooked on it.
My question is what are the differences of the different revisions if any

I doubt that's an intentional change, so I wouldn't consider that to be a useful reply.
That probably simply happens as a result of the random number generation, which is affected by any other change in the code causing things to take a longer / shorter amount of time to run.

I don’t know all of the revisions but I just ran into this last week. Not all of the revisions in Mame support 2 player. I had to change versions in my setup to play against my son.
