I am a noob to G&W thru Mame but loving it.
Is there any way to play SMB or SMBN with artwork for YM 901 the special prize edition?

Ive just got hold of the SMB special edition artwork and have worked out how to alter to it from the Video options and screen #0 - Doh!
Is there any command line options I can use to specify the specific artwork ie one command line to launch new widescreen and one command line to launch the special edition artwork?

There is a "view" parameter that you can use here. I don't have the actual artwork file in front of me, so we'll use generic examples.
If the names of the two views in the artwork file are "GameAndWatch" and "GNW_Special", then the command lines would be:
mame64 gnw_smb -view GameAndWatch
mame64 gnw_smb -view GNW_Special
