for the pinball folks here
#389549 - 01/12/21 09:36 AM

I was doing a specific search and came across Pinside pinball community. I
am certain some of those here that have their own pinball tables or EM hardware
are familiar with the group. There are probably listings of items for sale
being announced there that might not even be listed on ebay listings.
If a real piece (no video games) or component(s) is/are needed, this might be the place worth visiting on occasion.

I'd like to believe there had been past Nintendo cab posts (WG, Shooting Trainer, Skyhawk) there, but hard to say.

I've been on Pinside since 2013 when I got my first machine. It's a great place, but can also be a shitshow of arguing. That said, it's the best place to post if you have questions or problems with your pin.

I have a couple questions to ask about there in case you have time.

Been there since '17 (same handle as here), and I agree with you in all respects.

Has any Gremlin Trapshoot wall game parts and pieces for sale been posted there in
the past?

I am looking to seeing about buying the front side artwork component by itself in case a parts and pieces salvage sale ever happens. Unfortunately a long time ago an upright Midway Tornado Baseball was way beyond being fully restorable including the artwork backdrop piece (itself broken and cracked) which is what I bought and Mr. Do put that piece to use as external artwork backdrop to be supported in MAME. Long live Tornado Baseball backdrop piece in memory.

Wishful thinking on my part, but I hope maybe some items from any of the Nintendo 1970s era games have shown up there before.

Some time ago, a seller had Ramtek Barricade paperwork (along with other manuals) listed for sale. I would have purchased the Ramtek Barricade paperwork. I only recall seeing Ramtek Barricade paperwork on ebay only one time for the years I have searched on ebay.

The fold out logic schematics sheet(s) will be useful for analog audio sound effects emulation. If the logic schematics is a fold out variety, it would get same treatment as Meadows Bombs Away, and the For Play logic schematics.

Not that I'm aware of, but I tend to stick more to the pinball parts of the forums.

Pinside is, of course, a pinball website, but I have seen plenty of other topics discussed there - pets, liquor, cars, etc. I pretty much only search or post about pinball-related info, issues, photos, so I don't pay much attention to non-pinball topics there. The Nintendo EM stuff you're looking for is really specific, but that said, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the folks there could help you out. I've seen at least one non-pinball EM game thread.

Best advice I could offer you is to create an account there, create a topic for exactly what you're looking for, and see who turns up.

There's also a place called Coin-op Warehouse in Maryland that post ads on Facebook all the time. They have a little bit of everything - pins, videogames, EM stuff of all types, gas pumps, old rides, signs. You might give them a try.

They are good folks to deal with. I bought a used SS shuffle bowler from them a number of years ago, and they delivered it to me (about 50 miles away).
