I'm assuming this post is just making fun of mine,
I am not in the loop and just saw something that I thought may interest others!
My mistake.
Thanks for reminding me why I don't visit or post here!

I saw it as a young child, I think it warped my mind permanently with the "shit down your neck" scene.

Summer 1974....had to go with family to movie theater in the days when the theater would have only one screen and it would be a large size screen.

Godspell (1973) was the first show and then the second was Beatles animation movie of "Yellow Submarine" (1968). Godspell killed off the good taste of Red Vines licorice. And then the 'Blue Meanies' of Yellow Submarine destroyed the good taste of Reese Peanut Butter cups and the large coke. Yellow Submarine held up on its end and was good, but Godspell drowned it out.

One of the few times when a quality large size screen theater can be ruined by airing two movies with one of the two movies being okay. imo No joy in the theater that day.

Odd trivia was David Letterman's tv show musical director /keyboardist Paul Schaffer was one of the keyboard musicians doing the musical scores for Godspell.

"Is you seen dis or is you not done seen dis" resembles the title to that Frank Zappa album "You Are What You Is".
