i was checking out some games got added with netlist audio one of them is dynamite dux this one previously didn't have netlist i used to play a lot of dynamite dux and there was no problems no lag but since got netlist added it reaches 70 75 % speed only and i'ts very laggy the same happens with tank battlation
the question is
do you need a good CPU to play full speed on games with netlist audio? i have a 2.33 core2duo i know it's crap but that is the point of the question.

Yes, you'll need a beefy machine to handle many of the netlist games.
These are the two games you reference on my oc 4.5Ghz 6700K
c:\O\Games\MAME>mame ddux -bench 90 Average speed: 707.47% (89 seconds)
c:\O\Games\MAME>mame tankbatt -bench 90 Average speed: 400.93% (89 seconds)
I've also added spacfury to the bench run so you can monitor some newer netlist games progress.

For those curious about the hardware update if missed earlier..

Analog filters added to systems with YM2151 and UPD7759. Reviewers can use USE_NL define to produce unfiltered sound. -

It is now [no more external sample audio recordings] accurate with info derived from either the technical paperwork or from the pcb itself.

To provide some more data points, here's the performance on my aging 3.33GHz Xeon X5680 based machine running Linux:
$ mame64 ddux -bench 90 Average speed: 500.85% (89 seconds) $ mame64 tankbatt -bench 90 Average speed: 226.52% (89 seconds)
And also my even older 3.16GHz Core 2 Duo E8500 based machine running Windows 7:
C:\Program Files\MAME>mame64 ddux -bench 90 Average speed: 467.09% (89 seconds) C:\Program Files\MAME>mame64 tankbatt -bench 90 Average speed: 168.37% (89 seconds)
For what it's worth, this E8500 is almost certainly a drop-in replacement for the OP's CPU, and they go for about $10 on eBay. An 3.33GHz E8600 would be even better for maybe $20.
