Panic Park or Prop Cycle. An indexed spinner isn’t really that “special” IMO. The actual physical interaction in Panic Park really adds to the game, and can’t be emulated. Prop Cycle is a crazy concept that actually worked.

My vote goes to Keyboardmaina (mostly because I happen to be someone who dabbles around on the keyboard for fun

I'll raise that Konami Bemani hardware with another: ....a hopefully working playable Drum Mania series sometime in the future. Hard to believe almost all of the Bemani hardware that used to be at places just about gone.

Camelot's arcade just isn't what it used to be compared to 1980s or even just a few years ago (photo was from soCali MAME meet 2006) when they still had a fair number of Konami games there including Drum Mania.

Heh. That was the drum game that Gyrovision, who used to visit here and also worked as a repair tech at gaming places in Nevada back in the 1990s, was telling me that game players would go nuts and practically destroy the cab when trying to play the game. The machine (pads etc and other parts items) would be ruined within a matter of days after the cab unit was overhauled. Wannabe drummers would either bust the bass drum/kick pad piece or somehow manage to damage the video monitor screen while playing the game. It was out of commission more times compared to the cab working and earning money. The arcade place that Gyrovision was working at the time decided to give up and sent the game back to a vending company.
