Ipac4 won't change modes

Hello all,

I've tested that my start1 and p1sw3 buttons are properly connected and working....when I hold them for 10 seconds it does not change modes. I've tried changing it to other modes with no success. I am on multi-mode 1.55 firmware and its a usb model. I bought it last week.

I keep reading about command line commands, but all links to the commends go to a non existent link on the ultimarc page. I am at a loss, do I need to RMA or is there something I have not considered?

Im wondering if there a simple hotkey to change modes...
why they don't just add a buttons to changes modes from the IPAC app I don't know..
