MAME's SGI Irix emulation: Support for multiple harddisks ?

Hi,
Over at an SGI Irix related forum [1] the issue has come up about wheter the SGI Irix emulation (indy_4610) currently does support attaching multiple harddisks (CHD's) to a single (Irix 6.2) MAME instance, and if so what the commandline should be to create the second disk (with 'chdman createhd') and the commandline to then start MAME (assuming the boot disk would be the Irix 6.2 CHD supplied in the 'software list' [sgi_mips_hdd\irix_6_2\irix_6_2.chd])
I'm not sure if this would be the right place to ask this question, but am hoping someone could be of assistance on this matter ?

While I have little experience with this system or CHD hard disk emulation, theoretically it should be already be possible to configure multiple SCSI HDDs for indy_4610, given that MAME supports SCSI as a multidrop bus. Adding -scsibus:2 harddisk to the command line options is probably the correct first step.

Thanks for the reply.
So, I imagined that would translate to something like this :
mame64 indy_4610 -harddisk foo.chd -scsibus:2 harddisk bar.chd
But that gives me an error: "Error: unknown option: bar.chd"
I can't seem to get the syntax right.
---EDIT---
Would this be correct ? At least it doesn't give any syntax errors :
mame64 indy_4610 -harddisk foo.chd -scsibus:2 harddisk -harddisk2 bar.chd
