Can MAME play videos?

Hey guys! I was able to get the snapshot to load up! Now I'm trying to get videos to work. I dloaded an .mp4 file and put it in the snap folder. Does MAME support this? If so, what folder do they need to be in? Sorry if it's a noob question. Thanks.

There are front-ends for Mame that support video snapshots.

MAMEUI has the ability to view my videos, if present, using the right mouse button on a game and using the command "Play Progetto-Snaps MP4" (I go to memory).
Unfortunately there is no possibility of an automatic display as is the case for images.
