Hello people! How can I remove Mame's on-screen writings that relate to savestate-loadstate?

There are no IN MAME functions or commands to silence any of those messages. You'd need to edit the source and remove/comment the areas where the dialogs are and compile yourself a new binary. I cannot see that being all that useful, especially if your save state fails to load or save for whatever reasons which can happen from version to version.

Maybe MAME could have an option to suppress those messages if they return "successful" code. If there is an error then show the messages even if this new mame.ini option is enabled. But as you said, it might not be a good idea to hide them.

I completely agree with this. It could be called -silent_on_success or something like that.
I'll look into implementing this sometime later this evening or tomorrow.
This won't get rid of the modal that pops up prompting you to press a key when loading or saving a state, but it will at least suppress the lingering message after you save or load a state, if successful.
I'm thinking it could also suppress the partial/full keyboard-switch messages. Are there any other situation where MAME throws messages up on top of the running machine on a successful operation?

I can't remember messages other than save states right now. Perhaps other users can help with that.
