Some of the ads are home run hits. These are not Democratic ads, but ads put together by GOP members, remaining American Fortune 500 corporations, 'behind-the-scenes billionaires' that still want to run a profitable business and not go bankrupt. The folks that put ads together or helped fund the ads are not kool aid drinkers.
Big business corporations (GE, Ford, Walmart, Coke, IBM) want to stay in business and retain American consumers to still be able to purchase their various products.
Not possible when a crazy office occupier destroys the country, kills off consumers, threatens trader partner countries with tariffs, threatens CEOs such as the GM CEO, interferes with businesses.
These are ads that one can bet were helped funded by corporations. The companies are hinting that it is time to remove the trash from the WH.

Simply put....those involved with the project would still prefer to stay in business and earn profits compared to someone that brags of owning a business, but yet manages to lose hundreds of millions of dollars over several decades.
It is another Lincoln Project ad, but it is primarily meant to be an eye opener to hardcore GOP voters. It is nothing new that what most folks are already well aware of and what Dr. Bandy Lee has already brought up over past few years, and what past administration cabinet members are well aware of: (Kelley, Mattis, Jeff Sessions, Tillerson).
That is why the ad was paid for to be primarily aired on Fox owned tv stations and to be mainly aired on tv stations in Washington DC region. To get attention and make sure it is discussed in the 'capitol region' on Wednesday and also to aggravate administration staff as well.
For those outside of US region. Some of the posts give an explanations of why some GOP are willing to attack other GOP. They are not Democratic party friendly, but would prefer their own specific future GOP party operation that does not involve Putin and Russian oligarch influence, but their own American influence, not Russian mafia influence. That is why they are putting money for attack ads to have Trump damaged as much as possible.
These are ads that Democratic party would not be creating and the specific group of GOP members know that. This why they are doing the so called 'dirty' work to ensure that Trump looks damaged and then some before general elections take place. They want Trump and family and other specific cronies out of power and gone before 2022 or 2024 elections take place. The only way future elections have any future chance in the US is if Trump and cronies is/are damaged and removed/voted out of office.
Rick Wilson, Steve Schmidt & George Conway are never-Trumper Republicans. Frienemies. I'm happy to watch what they're doing with the Lincoln Project with a bowl of popcorn.
But I think we Democrats need to be taking notes - they've been doing this sort of thing for decades, and they're very good at it. I do have to admire their technique and chutzpah. IMHO, Democrats waste too much time agonizing about whether an ad is too mean. Rick Wilson don't roll that way - he truly is a mean son-of-a-bitch - he put in that clip of Trump with toilet paper on his shoe, and another Lincoln Party ad just straight-up called him a coward.
Maybe we should be exercising that kind of chutzpah instead of worrying about whether an ad's too mean. Trump's a dirty rotten psychopathic piece of shit. As far as I'm concerned, open season. We need to be mean SOBs right now.
And do keep in mind: they're not going to be on our side four years from now. --

You're missing the point entirely. It's a 45-second ad, not a documentary. The point is to trigger the conversation and coverage. This does that. You can bet that by tomorrow, all of the networks will be showing the ad , discussing his impairment and augmenting the discussions with numerous clips of the kind you're talking about.
And if this reminds them of their elderly relatives, great. They don't think Trump is elderly or shaky and definitely don't think he's like their elderly relatives. He sells himself as vibrant, youthful and the healthiest specimen of a man anyone ever knew. If this makes them think he's like the old, infirm people they know, that's a pretty humiliating comedown for him. --
A good many folks are well aware of why these attack ads are being cut-throat operations style and that is because the Lincoln Project ad backers know that the Democratic side will not go this low with future Democratic tv ads for Biden. The GOP backers would like to get back into future GOP elections and operations and that means Trump and cronies, Russian oligarchs mafia, and Putin have to be ousted first. That is why these ads have been created in hopes that specific GOP voters or independent voters will finally see what Trump is and will vote for Biden instead.
Don't fall for it. These people are not sincere. Their subliminal message is, "it's not the Republican party, it's Trump. We're not responsible for this mess." They are setting themselves up to come back in four years with a smart Reagan/Cheney Republican who doesn't say the shit out loud.
Not only that but the ads that Democrats usually come up with are done by committee and end up watered down and focus grouped to death until they don't offend anyone.
I much prefer the cut-throat ads groups like the Lincoln Project are doing (and why I am one of their donors) - they will actually move the needle - they are true attack ads, not spending time explaining what a great guy Biden is or why he's better, they just attack, attack, attack.
