"Activate the Barr stongly"
#386588 - 06/01/20 10:03 PM

The various governors and mayors across the state were doing their jobs strongly not hiding or having to hide in an enclosed bunker. My advice for him is stay there and don't leave until Biden takes over instead. I support US Presidents 'that don't hide in bunkers'. [paraphrasing jackass 2016 critical comments about McCain's Vietnam service experience].

The antifa reference is since there is no such organization that actually exists, any US citizen that protests, disagrees, or is one of the various groups that are hated [non-white, Democratic [ranging from liberal or socialist to centric], artists, college educated, scientists, journalists, lawyers, environmentalists etc] could be labeled as an antifa member and done away with. It is the fascists playbook. And the irony is US WWII vets or French resistance fighters that fought in WWII would be labeled antifa radicals as well....including the fictional Captain America superhero.

Trump is being Trump, dumb as a stump.

So he felt like going to church, so he had the protesters in the immediate area gassed, so he could walk across the street to the smashed-up church to do whatever it is he does there.

Any other president would have tried to calm the situation. Not trump - he loves confrontation, it excites him. He only cares about one person - himself, and he only cares about one thing - his re-election chances. He will do anything, anything at all, including ruining his country, selling it out, committing treason - to satisfy his aims.

Meanwhile, the leaders of China and Russia must be laughing their asses off.

So, in the meantime, the various police militias around the country continue to commit offences daily. Today an Australian news crew was shot with rubber bullets, and the reporter bashed with a shield and punched in the face. A woman reporter shot with pepper bullets, and a CNN crew arrested for doing their job, in violation of their 1st amendment rights.

In Atlanta 2 blacks were driving away, and the police attacked, flattening their tyres, smashing the car windows, tasering the driver and arresting both of them - even though they had done nothing wrong. Fortunately whoever is in charge had them released and the police sacked.

I think the real culprits here are the police. It is they who kill blacks for no reason, and they continue a litany of offences that rarely get acted upon. They are often armed with ex-miltary weapons, and are not afraid to use them in the execution of unnecessary violence.

"I am your president of law and order and an ally of all peaceful protesters."

With an ally like that, you're better off with your enemies. So, after making that statement, police tear-gassed the peaceful protesters outside the White House (now we know why it's the White House and not the Black House). Then after the protesters had left, a new security fence was hastily constructed around the White House, to keep his friends, the peaceful protesters, away. Perhaps he doesn't want to cower in the basement any more.

Correct. More than well known enough by US citizens that have paying attention to what has been happening over past seven months. This is the stuff that had already been predicted back in 2016 by various opinionists/columnists, but what was not known was the travel direction of getting to this mess. Few would have predicted a pandemic, but maybe a few more probably would have been correct with guessing police violence could be the inevitable start of to what we have seen for past several days.

>Meanwhile, the leaders of China and Russia must be laughing their asses off.

Primarily Putin and other Russian oligarchs. China maybe not as much because China does have business ties with some of the various US corporations and would prefer to keep those going even though the Oval Office occupier has been using tariffs or extortion attempts against China to attempt to make pathetic deals so the ass can benefit personally for himself.

It is worse than that after knowing about this new revelation...

Ahead of Trump Bible photo op, police forcibly expel priest from St. John's church near White House

https://www.democraticunderground.com/10142505402

Source: Religion News

June 2, 2020
Jack Jenkins

(RNS) — Early Monday evening (June 1), President Trump stood before the historic St. John’s Episcopal Church in downtown Washington, DC, and held aloft a Bible for cameras. ... The photo opportunity had an eerie quality: Trump said relatively little, positioned stoically in front of the boarded-up church, which had been damaged the day before in a fire during protests sparked by the death of George Floyd.

The church appeared to be completely abandoned. ... It was, in fact, abandoned, but not by choice: less than an hour before Trump's arrival, armored police used tear gas to clear hundreds of peaceful demonstrators from Lafayette Square park, which is across the street from the church. ...Authorities also expelled at least one Episcopal priest and a seminarian from the church's patio. ... “They turned holy ground into a battleground,” said the Rev. Gini Gerbasi.

Gerbasi, who serves as rector at a different Saint John’s Episcopal Church in Georgetown, arrived at St. John’s Lafayette earlier that day with what she said were at least 20 other priests and a group of laypeople. They were organized by the Episcopal Diocese of Washington to serve as a “peaceful presence in support of protestors.”

Saint John’s Episcopal Church was the church that Reagans had attended for services because they were Episcopalians iirc

>Today an Australian news crew was shot with rubber bullets,

I believe the atrocities were committed by the Federal military police law enforcements that were called up. I don't believe D.C. police would be involved unless protestors were charging the barriers and that was not happening on Monday compared to when it did happen on Thursday and Friday.

The assault had to have been from federal law enforcement personnel since they are commanded by the ass.

One of the US news sources has reported that one of the Australian officials might be considering the idea to bring up resolution of kicking out some of the US diplomat personnel from US Embassey in Australia. I wouldn't blame Australia for going in that direction. They need to sort through list of names and see which ones are supporters of the jackass and tell those specific folks to leave immediately.

Australian Prime Minister calls for investigation after reporters violently attacked by U.S. police

Source: Mediaite

The live footage shocked Brace’s colleagues back in the Sunrise news studio, who remarked that “they’re not discriminating between protesters and the media here.” When Brace got back in front of the camera and confirmed the crew was alright, she continued to report on the chaos while saying “you heard us yelling ‘we were media,’ but they don’t care… They were quite violent and they do not care who they’re targeting at the moment.”

The incident happened as police forced protesters to disperse so that Trump could visit St. John’s Episcopal Church for a photo-op.

Australian reporter knocked down by police live on air as she covered George Floyd protests in DC

US riot police were broadcast live on air using aggressive force to push and knock down an Australian reporter and her cameraman as they covered the Black Lives Matter protests in Washington DC, prompting an investigation by the Australian embassy.

Amelia Brace, a reporter for Australian television network Channel 7, was broadcasting from the White House with cameraman Timothy Myers when police plouged into the crowd with riot shields, firing rubber bullets and tear gas to disperse them.

Footage of the police barrelling at the camera and shoving the news team was viewed over a million times in a matter of hours. In another angle of the incident filmed by a protester, an officer can be seen hitting Ms Brace on the back with a baton.

If the US is able to change administration later, the US Attorney, DOJ civil rights division will be very busy having to sort out which actions were acceptable to which ones were not acceptable.

As for what happened in Minnesota, the governor made the correct decision of taking away the prosecution call from local DA and moving it to the state attorney general because the local DA had made past decisions of not prosecuting law enforcement misconduct.

Another example of specific 'bad apples' at work. With this being in New York state and state attorney Letitia James in charge, maybe get an early preview of what she might do to set an example for some of the 'out-of-control' military trained rank and file.

The 75 year old caucasian male appeared to be asking a question rather than trying to stand in the way, but that isn't good enough for the 'bad apple' cop. I hope the tv station has entire video leading up to incident. I want to hear the man's side version of why he was there or what he was trying to do. He didn't simply trip and stumble on his own two left feet as police department tried to describe because he was walking in a normal fashion.....not stumbling around.

GRAPHIC VIDEO: Buffalo police officers violently shove man onto ground
Source: WFBO (NPR)

Shortly after Buffalo’s curfew started, city police and State Police swept through the area of Niagara Square directly in front of City Hall to clear the area where a protest was finishing. An unidentified, older man was hit shoved by two officers in the line. The man lost his balance and fell to the pavement, audibly hitting his head with blood running out from under his head.

Someone in one of the threads explained why the specific culprits moved onward. The post should be there, but I couldn't locate the exact post since there were 15 different threads of the incident. NY state attorney general Letitia James will have her hands full with this unless NY state has a state based civil rights department. James might likely hand it off to the department and let the case work its way from there.

As for victim, expect his family members to be getting loads of personal injury attorney business cards from various law firms throughout the state.

Buffalo police officers arrested after shoving 75-year-old protester

-
Two Buffalo, New York, police officers are now facing criminal charges in connection with the graphic caught-on-video shove of a 75-year-old man during a protest, prosecutors said.

Officers Aaron Torglaski and Robert McCabe were charged with second-degree assault during their video arraignments on Saturday and were released on their own recognizance. They both entered no guilty pleas and are expected back in court on July 20.

The Thursday protest at Niagara Square had less than 20 demonstrators and several members of Buffalo Police Department's Emergency Response Team, officials said.

One of the protesters, Martin Gugino was seen on video walking in the direction of the crowd of uniformed officers when Torglaski and McCabe allegedly shoved him.

-

Some appropriate action finally underway.

Mr. Gugino might have been better off not walking towards the line.

Shoved man is long time peace activist, his name is Martin Gugino
-

A few days earlier, I had thought maybe it was only a couple bad apples amongst the group, but it now appears all of staff is 'bad apple' tainted with the fact every one of them thought it was okay to have the man shoved to the ground even though he wasn't doing combat movements against the police line. At this point, maybe it might be proper action to fire every one of them from the Buffalo police because it is not simply a couple bad apples, but a bad 'orchard' that needs to be burned down and soil turned over and replanted. Reagan fired thousands of air traffic controllers (PATCO) in 1981. Same can be done with the protesting members of Buffalo police department. I support unions, but if a union thinks it's alright to commit assault similar to what happened in Buffalo. No way. Gotta go. Send members packing and let them go join some small town sheriff department instead. Buffalo needs better police staff that is not some psychotic military unit. F' that. Public deserves better.

Buffalo officers quit special team after 2 officers suspended for allegedly shoving 75-year-old

https://www.cnn.com/2020/06/05/us/buffalo-police-suspension-shoving-man-trnd/index.html

Fifty-seven police officers in Buffalo, New York, have resigned from the force's emergency response team following the suspension of two officers who allegedly pushed a 75-year-old man to the ground during a protest, a source close to the situation told CNN.

====

Video of the demonstration Thursday shows a row of officers walking toward the man and two pushing him. His head bleeds onto the sidewalk as officers walk past him, some looking down at him.

The officers resigned from the emergency unit but not from the force, according to police.

"Fifty-seven resigned in disgust because of the treatment of two of their members, who were simply executing orders," Buffalo Police Benevolent Association president John Evans told WGRZ on Friday. WKBW also reported news of the resignations.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI)– A Rhode Island firefighter gave an emotional account of being racially profiled while standing in front of a fire station – while wearing his uniform.

Choking back tears, Terrell Paci, 23, shared his story with sister station WPRI during Friday’s protest in downtown Providence. He said he was outside the Messer Street fire station talking to a friend who had brought him food when both officers came at them with their guns drawn.

“I was dressed in full uniform and had my radio in hand,” Paci said. “I was like, ‘I’m a firefighter, I’m PFD, I’m one of you’ and they still kept approaching the vehicle with guns drawn.”

“After identifying me as a Providence firefighter, one officer asked if I had a gun in the vehicle,” he continued. “I said, ‘No, I am not allowed to carry a firearm while on duty, I am an essential worker and I’m not breaking curfew.'”

Why is it that America criticises China and other countries who crack down on protests, yet America does the same thing? Hypocrites.

Police killings month by month in America. https://www.statista.com/statistics/585159/people-shot-to-death-by-us-police-by-month/
America regularly records more murders by police in a month than most other countries in a decade.

I don't remember if it was former UN secretary [former S. Carolina Governor] Nikki Haley or if it was Pompeo that was called out by one of the UN officials with words something along the line of: "You and your government no longer have any moral authority in this day and age. You squandered away all that integrity when you invaded Iraq in 2003 and yet still to this day have not yet left Iraq."

This either was last year or year before. Either way, the UN official was/is correct.

This will be my last post on the subject.

Talking about the middle east, it is said that when the first British troops joined the Gulf War, that their only casualties were caused by crazy Americans who shot at anything that moved.

Quite honestly, from the impressions I get, the USA is a dangerous, life-threatening place to visit, with its overabundance of crazies, criminals, white supremacist police, and loony-tunes government apparatus.

I'm out.
