hello
i looked here http://www.progettosnaps.net/renameset/docs/pS_renameSET.txt
but there are errors
the errors are:
denjinmk is not renamed, it still exists in 218
same for: sbagman
just look in xml file of mame if you don't believe me...
all rest is correct
except you still count thenumber of software lists from hash folder.
mame developers have confirmed you must count them using -listsoftware (see mame forum post).
hash folder contains software lists that are not included in mame yet but are there for future versions. it's a WIP

They are not errors.
The machine called "denjinmk" in MAME 0.217 now is called "denjinmka" and a different machine (usually a newer version) is the new "denjinmk".
Same for "sbagman".
It happened many times in the past.
I don't know about the -listsoftware thing.

Compared to the two renames, Janez has already answered you correctly.
As for the counts, from the next version of the "renameSET" package I will add a second file with the information relating exclusively to the software lists. The counts will remain the same (I will still count all the software present in the xml files of the "hash" folder) but two entries will be added:
- Active SL
- Active Software
that will only count those actually available.
PS: List counts will be removed from original "renameSET.dat".
