Any chance someone could type out the text on this piece of artwork, and paste it here.
(OCR app didn't work, assuming because it isn't "straight on.")

スペース・ハリアー
○敵の攻撃を突破し, モンスター群を撃破せよ!
○敵弾は破壊不能!
(It means "Don Bear Near", "Rhinoceros Bar Command", and also "Rhinoceros Berth Lead-Lead".)
edit: I mustn't have been awake - fix up a little. It translates as "Space Harrier" "•Break through enemy attacks, destroy monsters!" "•Enemy bullets are indestructible!" but it loses the tone of the original when translated like that - there's no convenient way to express the "seyo" suffix in English.

せよ comes from する, this is not a word to be isolated and translated, it can emphasize the meaning of the previous word.
しかし、いずれにせよ - Unfortunately, however; even if; even though.
モンスター = Monster 群を = gun wo = a group of 撃破せよ = gekiha seyo = crushing = to do a crush action, to put it (the crushing) in motion. At this position せよ would be more like the english "it", do IT, crush IT, kill IT, destroy IT, etc.

Looks like this is the instruction plate in English. Not sure if it's an original or a repro.
Noticed current overlay at your artwork site includes a "slanted" version. Would it be worth recreating the original (straight) plate ? Let me know if you need some support.

In this age of socially accepted bootlegs AKA "repros", I'd consider it "suspected fake" until proven otherwise.
