Is there a way to roll back within the application? Or do we have to install an old version of the tools and not update it?
Thanks.

It is possible, but if you update then it's fixed now anyway

I'm having all around problems and idk if I will resort to rolling back.
I usually use winenv32.bat to compile MAME but idk if that is even a proper way?

I would use win32con.bat. That's what I do.

I figured as much since I was able to build the updated MAME when it released last week using the latest tools without issue.

It would be nice to know what you did in detail. I would like to compile Mame the intended way unless my way of using win32env.bat works fine.

I use win32\env.bat
Latest gcc works fine.

I use win32env.bat as well.
I didn't do anything special. Everything built like normal for me.

What error are you getting? On appveyor the following appears:
Code:
internal error in mingw32_gt_pch_use_address, at config/i386/host-mingw32.c:186: MapViewOfFileEx: Attempt to access invalid address. : fatal error: had to relocate PCH compilation terminated. make[2]: *** [dasm.make:496: ../../../../mingw-gcc/obj/x64/Release/src/devices/cpu/cop400/cop420ds.o] Error 1 make[1]: *** [Makefile:94: dasm] Error 2

Just run at the mingw32 prompt: pacman -Syuu This should update to the gcc 9.2.0-2 package which fixes the PCH issue, the fix was released on Aug 29th 2019. You will need to do a clean build afterward.
