Hello -
I am pretty new to the Mame Emulator world. I am currently running MameUI64 version 0.208 on Windows 10. I have not had any issues so far, but when I tried to run the game Kangaroo I received scan lines displaying on portions of the game. I do not believe they are supposed to be there. Is there an option or game setting I can tweak to fix this issue? Thanks.

it's the art style of the game, not something MAME is adding.

Thank you. I appreciate that link. I was originally looking at a video of the game on YouTube played on an actual cabinet. The video is kind of grainy, but it did not appear that the scan lines (or whatever they are) were on the trees or monkeys. Actually, in the video the monkeys look to be a completely different solid color. Maybe it was a different version of the game, like an overseas version? Oh well, as long as I do not have to worry about it being a setting or something in Mame. Thank you.
If you want to check out the video, here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0sE5iE_U6ZQ
