Lost scanlines after switch to openGL
#380955 - 02/03/19 12:38 AM

Hi,

I’m using the latest version of MAME and it was running all games really slow with choppy sound but looked great and I had scanlines which I love for that real CRT retro feel.

I switched the Video section in the .ini file to OpenGL and now I can’t seem to get scanlines back on. The OpenGL has made the games run great and at full speed with good sound but how can I get scanlines back?

Cheers

By scanlines, do you mean HLSL? MAME's OpenGL mode uses GLSL for those effects.

I hope you don't mean the old school fake scanlines that used to be in MAME fifteen years ago. Horizontal lines on Pac-Man was just so wrong.
