I just bought a decent 24" monitor that can rotate 90 degrees to play vertical Shmups. $110 on Amazon:

I use an old Dell 1708FP which also rotates but has a more retro 5 x 4 feel. I agree, great for vertical shooters.


God, I miss those dark, musty arcades ....
