MAME on a Vectrex
#380205 - 12/21/18 09:56 PM Attachment: 48408805_1969781313112762_4815566496765837312_o.jpg 54 KB (0 downloads)

Here is a picture of MAME on a Vectrex:

The multicartridge VecFever is used to use the Vectrex as the monitor + the controller.

This was already done before, but with abandoned hardware and only monitor output: http://www.zektor.com/zvg/zvg_vpix.htm

and with a very old modified MAME version.

Props to someone being able to do that.

I am guessing if they ever run MAME + Cinematronics Star Hawk + (and if Star Hawk had analog audio discrete emulation ever supported), Vectrex will let out a Sam Kinison Scream....

Star Hawk already exist as a cartridge game for Vectrex. I dont see the point, or a reason for not playing all MAME vector games, provided you have a VecFever. The last VecFever auction on e-bay went over 1000€, just saying
