Xarcade left joystick problem with Mame

Hi , im new here, and IDK if this is right spot for this question, i have mame 0.122u1 , i went in and try setting default controller option as xarcade, but my left joystick wont work with any game, my right joystick work fine.

Sorry, but that version of MAME is at least 7 years out of date at this point, and we do not support versions that old. Please try with the latest version of MAME and let us know if it still happens.
