How to use Update Package from MameUI website?

Hello,
how to use Update Pack which can be downloaded from MAMEUI website?
What images are inside to which folder they belong? Are these snapshots or artwork or ???
Why it's called Update Pack?

I've done the snaps and icons since the beginning in 1997. They are in-game snaps that go in the \snap directory as freestanding *.pngs.
You download the three 7z parts initially and then add the update pack which changes each release, running clrmame in rebuild mode using the supplied DAT file.
