I was just reading VasCrabb's artwork updates for this release. What are the actual applications of the layout changes?

Three things:
- You can now attach layouts to each component device rather than just full systems.
- Multiple layouts now can be displayed at once. For instance, a computer driver with a layout connected to the Epson printer emulation (which has its own layout) now will display as expected.
- The layout file format has limited scriptability, so MAME can auto-generate layout elements for layouts where there's a lot of repetition.

There's more power coming in 0.201, as well.

Thanks. I would imagine this also comes into play for a lot of handheld games where the LEDs repeat.
