What with their whole “We noticed you bought a toaster, well, here’s seven more toasters just like it you may also want to buy, you know, for your toaster collection you’ve just started.”
Now Facebook is in on it, with their “Hey, we noticed you just made friends with a guy named John Doe. Here’s a bunch of other random people from around the world also named John Doe you may want to be freinds with.”

LOL.
I did manage to get Amazon to stop recommending bedframes and pink kitchen utensils. They have a page where you can review what they're using for recommendations. I don't think Facebook has that.
