hi, can you help me, there are any way to push only one button to save or load on mame?
when i try to save or load, appears a message to put a slot number.
there are anyway to only push one button to save without need to put a number of slot?

I don't think MAME's save state function actually has a concept of an active save slot, each save file is mapped to a keyboard key e.g. 0-9 or A-Z, so saving to "1" will generate 1.sta whereas saving to Z will generate z.sta. It's more like a Save As rather than an instant save.
