Funny, those pics from the undumped page look like the ones Dr Kitty teased use with 8+ years ago ;-p Though I see there's an alternate title shown in the Korean game reg photo of "Lucky Ball - Tomtom Magic"
Now let's see just how crappy this Korean pinball game is.

Unless pcb has some dip switch or wire jumpers to display different attract mode title screen, I guess it appears there might be an alternate pcb needing to be found as well.

Given that the alt title is 'Lucky Ball' I have a feeling that this is maybe originally a gambling game but with the gambling element stripped out.
There's still a fair bit of gambling themeing (playing cards, ingame slot machine, hi-lo indicator on the screen etc.)
I have a feeling it was originally more like 'Witch' the Excellent System title, this Pinball / Gambling hybrid was not unknown to Korea. We're probably still missing the proper version of this game with everything intact. Either that or there are other undumped games by this company.
People are protective over everything that's undumped these days, there were some medal games he didn't sell for cheap either and those are no different to gambling..

the hardware is cloned from nmk16.cpp hardware, but with different sound etc.
I hooked up some basic video, AJR hooked up the sound + some inputs
The background rom is a bad dump hence bad backgrounds (dumped as wrong rom type, half size) not sure how that slipped through, but thankfully an eagle-eyed reader sent me a PM to point out the dumper issue before I spent too much time trying to figure out the problem with the emulation (it could still be different but no point in trying to figure it out until the dump contains all the data at least)
Not going to have time to look at it more until Monday, by then hopefully somebody on the Dumping Union will have redumped the ROM and the people who donated large sums of money towards the acquisition of this PCB can see proper emulated screenshots.

If passing on information I was given, and agreeing that the quality of images was below usual quality is trolling then go ahead and ban me.
Personally I'm thankful there are people double checking these things.
Telling me to go fuck myself just for letting you know there was a problem with both the dump and quality of images provided (as well as telling me to tell the guy PMing me to 'grow some balls' and now threatening me with a ban seems completely uncalled for.
How about you just fix the problem instead.

It's not telling someone you need a photo or a redump that is the problem (as if you really believe that?). It's how you do it. There's a difference between saying "hey I can't make out some chips, can you please take another photo or photos with them better visible" (how a normal human would say it) and "hey this photo quality is shameful, you're lucky we caught this blah blah blah". Nobody talks like that EXCEPT YOU. It's not everyone around you being the asshole. It's you, you're socially such a wreck that you sometimes seemingly can't get an idea across without offending people, and it's so shit that I am really having a hard time believing that you have some sort of lack of understanding, I think you know you're spitting daggers. I'm not going to listen to it.

I'm just trying to get a job done here.
I said that I agreed the dump / pictures were below usual DU standards and that it's lucky this error was caught. It could have turned out worse, that concerns me especially when we're dealing with things this rare. Too many dumps from back in the day (last 90s/early 2000s) are still bad or incomplete right now because they didn't get checked and slipped through. With all the evidence, datasheets, resources etc. collected over the years things like this shouldn't slip through, but mistakes do happen, and if they get caught in time they can be fixed.
Anyhow, all of that implies that the quality of the DU work is usually good, this didn't meet those standards. I'm glad there are people looking at the pictures, pairing them up with the dumps etc. but the way you're acting here is only going to alienate them which is something Guru ended up doing, and one of the reasons people stopped wanting to work with him as his dumps, images etc. couldn't be questioned.
It's the weekend now, so no more MAME stuff from me until next week anyway.

Look, I had pretty much the same issue with a DU member assuming a row of ROMs were all the same and hence under-dumping the ones that were actually twice as big. I noticed that the code was missing vectors, checked the photo, and brought it up, like, "Hey dude, ROMs X, Y and Z need re-dumping as correct type, and there's a BPROM..." He was just like, "Oh sorry man, I'll do it tomorrow." No drama at all.
So not having seen the original message, just the reaction it provoked, I'm going to assume it was out-of-line. Normally, asking a DU member for a proper dump doesn't result in drama.

To expand on that...
It is now 2018... many regulars still involved with MAME today are approaching two decades of contributing to MAME, if they aren't there already.
What boggles my mind is that, after all these years working together, there are still multiple contributors who:
-- Have no problem talking smack in general, or about other people here...
-- But then act all offended when they get called out on it, like they did nothing wrong.
And people on the outside have continued to watch this group of people bicker and fight over the past twenty years.
MAME has made amazing progress over this time, but I sometimes wonder how much more progress could have been made, with all of the people that stay away, because they want nothing do to with the immature attitudes on this project.
The best part? The first reply one of those people will think of when they read this is going to be somewhere in the vein of "after all the time/money I've spent on MAME, I'm entitled to this attitude; fuck anyone else that thinks different." And that's the problem that keeps on going.
MAME is a fun project; it allows thousands of people to relive games and other systems of the past; for many, it takes them back to their childhood. And my kids will all be the first to admit that I myself have never really grown up.
But there are times that a grown kid should still act mature, just like there are times when actual kids are supposed to act mature. It would be nice one day if these people would learn the difference, and that acting like a five-year old stomping on the ground throwing a tantrum is not the correct way to get what you are asking for. And acting like an entitled seventeen-year old, whose parents have given them everything, and expecting the world around them to do the same, also doesn't work.

I have a real knack for staying silent, 'cause I don't have the time or energy to, I don't know... "call people out on their shit" all day every day, I guess.
Sanctimony? Nah... that would require me to choose sides and favor one over the other. I don't.
As of late, there are people is at least one person in every group... DU, Dev, regulars, lurkers, that comes here and acts like entitled assholes, because they all think they simply have that right, and the world owes it to them. It's old... and it's draining.
At least when you are an asshole, it's usually directed at someone who deserves it in the first place. That I can live with.
As a wise man once said... I contribute what I can, when I can. People like it... great. People don't... so what.
I stay silent lately, because I'm in my bed, arms around my knees, rocking back and forth, while mom and dad are in the next room yelling at each other, with my Walkman on 10 so I don't have to listen to everything. Every so often, I try to say something to calm them down... they just get pissed off and tell me to go back to my room.
I guess I'll go back to my room.
