Hi there,
i´ve a short Q depending games like Espgaluda and others which do not have a great soundquality..
Dear Experts...
Is it possible if somebody have the original score on CD to rip this audiofile and place it in the dupmed game to get the better audio quality of the backgropund music ?
Just a question from a gamefreak which is not familiar with programming

Espgaluda sounds better in mame than the CV1000 games sound on their pcb, it's the stupid warning message at the beginning of mame launching that is playing with your mind.

You would need to ask the driver author or read its notes but it could be something like the author knowing all the functions of the sound chip and knowing he hasn't implemented code for them all yet. Timing could be unverified or clearly running differently from pcb videos.

Yes, it's definitely possible. A guy has made a custom MAME build for Final Fight which plays external flac tracks from the CD soundtrack. You'd have to ask him how to modify the drivers.

I wish the guy who did that would do this for the Taito ZSG2 driver so we can get correct sound levels with the music. Even adding some sort of software equalizer to the music to boost the lows would make a world of difference in G-Darius, Raystorm, etc.
