We got the 1987 version of Masterboy thanks to ARPA and Recreativas.org. The Masterboy in mame currently is a later version of the game from 1991. Although this new dump is the original game (and the first game Gaelco ever made), an earlier revision actually existed in 1986.
Porchy and Muddymusic dumped the bproms from Dynamite Duke.

Kudos to Haze for getting the 1980s version of Master Boy to be in working shape.

It looks like the Master Boy 2 mystery issue has finally been resolved because there never was any Master Boy 2.....Gaelco just kept reusing the same name with different pcb hardware designs.
Master Boy 2 (Gaelco, 91) Why it's not emulated (Manuel Abadia): No PCB for Master Boy 2 has been found.

Heh. Now someone on undumped Wiki team has to move Master Boy 2 entry elsewhere and then create a Master Boy (1986) entry. As OG would say...."Fun Times".
